Fundus Camera

FundusCamera.jpg

Our 4 month old baby in the clinic, a portable fundus camera. Having one in the clinic is a great help when I do comprehensive eye exams to my patients. A fundus camera helps me see the the back part of the eye, easily and conveniently, and tells me if the retina is healthy or not.

Checking the fundus is very important especially for those with systemic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.

If you are over 40, or have systemic conditions, make sure to also include a retina exam when you have your eyes checked.
