DOUREN ESPINA Dr. Douren A. Espina took her Doctor of Optometry at Southwestern University, graduating in 1999. She passed the Optometry Licensure Exam on the same year. After 2 years, she put up her own private practice in 2001. Dr. Espina graduated with a second degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing from NDC Tagum Foundation, Inc. in 2007. She passed the Nursing Licensure Board on December of the same year. She became an active member of the Optometric Association of the Philippines and held several Board of Trustee Positions during her membership years from 2013-2019. She has been in private practice since 2001, rotating between her two clinics in Abuyog and Palo, and soon, a third clinic in Tacloban. On her spare time, Dr. Douren loves to bake and cook for her family. She loves the musical arts, playing the piano and bringing up her children to play musical instruments as well.
