Dry Eye

Dry eye is a condition in which a person’s tears are not able to provide enough lubrication and nourishment for the eyes. The most common symptoms include:

  • eye redness

  • eye strain

  • general eye discomfort

  • a feeling of burning, stinging, or scratchiness in the eyes

  • a sensation of a foreign object on the eye

  • tearing of watering of the eyes, which is a response of the eyes to lack of quality tears

  • light sensitivity

  • comfort issues when wearing contact lenses

Dry eye is becoming more common especially for those who spend a lot of time in front of the computer or on their gadgets. If left untreated, dry eye may negatively impact your quality of life.

At our clinic, we perform clinically-validated tests to diagnose dry eye, after which we will determine how best to manage your dry eye.
