Hyperopia
Also called farsightedness, hyperopia is a condition of the eye in which near vision is blurry but distance vision is clear.
Some symptoms may include the following:
headache especially at the end of the day after prolonged near work
trouble focusing on nearby objects
eyestrain
Hyperopia usually occurs due to a short eye ball or a flatter than normal cornea, which is the transparent media on the front of the eye.
We manage hyperopia through prescription glasses and contact lenses, including multifocal contact lenses
